I have listened to this great audio book by Rick Rubens, the "Creative Act." In hindsight, I have been contemplating the notion of creativity and what it entails.
Up until recently it has never really taken up so much space, but since the discovery of this book, the idea of creativity has taken on a new light.
You see, because creativity is not just something artists or musicians can access. It is something that each and every one of us has the key to unlocking. Creativity can be as simple as taking a new road or setting up your furniture in a different way.
Creativity can be entrenched in every aspect of our lives, if you will it. And it's not something you just train, like a skill, it's an etheric space you access in your awareness, through pausing. And how do you pause? You may ask. Well, take a break and let the thoughts come to a halt. Practice this daily. Then in this space of nothingness creativity begins to take place, and it evolves. It's magical and mystical, yet so simple.
I hope you take a minute in your day today to pause and look for stillness
